Summer Recipes to Enjoy!

I thought you could use a healthy Bar-b-que recipe that all blood types can enjoy. And a great salad dressing for all blood types to go with it!

Turkey and Veggie Kabobs:

· Marinade turkey pieces in light soya sauce, fresh chopped garlic and grainy mustard
· Put turkey pieces on skewers with pieces of onion, Portobello mushrooms, zucchini, and water chestnuts
· Baste all of skewered items with sauce and continue doing so as you BBQ them


Salad dressing: Sweet Vidalia Onion

· Grate or chop ½ small Vidalia onion
· Combine onion with juice of 2 lemons, 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon of salt and ½ teaspoon of sugar in a small bowl and allow to marinade for one hour
· Drizzle 1 ½ cups of olive oil into mixture and whisk. Shake and whisk if it separates.
· Pour over mixture of fresh spinach and romaine lettuce combination with chopped broccoli.
